  17. I would like to use kermit under windows v3.1, I also have
  18. Trumpet winsock installed.  Is there any way to get the two 
  19. to work together or, another way to use Kermit under the
  20. windows environment.

  22. Also, I know kermit can set and check the status of the COM ports
  23. (COM1 to COM4 is UART or not) using the SET BIOS COM2 command for
  24. example.  But is there a way of checking that the com port kermit
  25. will use is not in use by any other device or application before 
  26. kermit is invoked?

  28. Please email me any suggertions or examples of how to overcome
  29. these obsticles.
